An Emirati Citizen and a Sudanese Woman Sentenced to Jail for Spying for Iran

NCRI - The United Arab Emirates’ federal appeals court in Abu Dhabi sentenced a 28-year-old Emirati military to 15 years in prison for espionage for Iran.
The person was convicted of transferring confidential military information to staff of the Iranian embassy in Abu Dhabi, according to the Emirates’ al-Bayan newspaper.
A 46-year-old Sudanese woman was also sentenced to 10 years in prison and expelled from the country for allegedly helping the Emirati in transferring confidential information to the Iranian embassy staff.
In another case, the federal appeals court sentenced a 45-year-old Emirati citizen to 10 years in jail and one million UAE Dirham fine for "supporting the terrorist ideology of ISIS and Ansar al-Sharia in Yemen".The Emirati was further found guilty of releasing false articles about Saudi Arabia and Egypt that damaged relations of the two countries with UAE.
In addition, four Jordanian citizens were each sentenced to 10 years in prison and one million Dirham fine for allegedly supporting the ideology of terrorist groups through the publication of articles, information, and images on social networks.
