Anti-fascist resistance injured Hitler by an explosion

On July 20m 1944, the anti-fascist units in Germany managed to plant a bomb at a place where Hitler was present and detonated it. The explosion led to injuring Hitler and killing 4 members of his suppressive system. The next day captain Stephenberg along with three other of his companions was arrested by Gestapo and were executed. At that day, the Hitler government called them as traitors to the motherland and German nation. The Gestapo investigating committee found it at once that they were related to the resistance organization against Hitler within the German Army and are connected to the people’s resistance forces. Subsequently, overall more than 5600 people were arrested in connection with that plan, 2,000 of them were executed. In a glorious celebration in Germany on occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of that operation was commemorated and the highest German officials from all parties called the
